I wonder who's left to sign up.

I really want to refuse a gift I got in an exchange. I'm aware that basically I can't because tacky and poor form and all that. And I did leave them as nice a comment as I possibly could so if I refuse it now, it'll be obvious I wasn't entirely genuine/forthcoming. I just hate seeing this gift on my gifts page. I got internalized homophobia when my request all but explicitly said please don't. And yes in future exchanges I will make sure to be very plainly explicit that I would prefer not to receive it as my gift. It's just still depressing.
