Is there anything you've noped out of offering any for? Any fandom you're crossing off your offer list all together because of the unwritable requests? Any fandoms you've picked up?

Frankenstein (Nick Dear) is intriguing me (I've seen both versions). Not sure I'll actually offer it, but I have it bookmarked for potential treatage--I like the idea of more Elizabeth and Creature interactions.

None yet but, even if there were, I wouldn't be bringing them to _coal. I'm really not a fan of the cult of nice "HDU shame people for liking things!!!" response that happens way too often when all you want to say is "I would really not like to write for this person".

I don't know what I'm going to offer yet. There's one or two I think I could confidently pull off, but the other ones I've offered in years past have gotten too big or weren't nominated this time around (and I only thought to nominate what I would request, not offer!).

There's one person in particular who I hope posts a letter so I can avoid them. They whined about placeholder fic that isn't fixed before the deadline being against the rules, and write clearly unbeta'd coal.

I'm finding myself tempted to offer Tennis RPF cause those are some enthusiastic letters but damn it has been a long time since I've written that. And I'm kinda going back and forth on offering some Football RPF. I love so many of the teams/players but I haven't seen a pairing request I can handle yet :/

I think I'm definitely not going to offer The Posterchildren after reading that one letter. I was leaning towards not offering it anyway, because of the characters nominated, but yeah, reading that letter, I just really don't think I could write positively about Corbin Underwood the way this person seems to expect.

So far all letters for the fandom I want to write most are by people who want completely different things than what I want to write (and at least one of them is requesting 'any' so I can't avoid being matched with them). Still hoping that some of my fellow shippers will come out of the woodwork soon.

I was going to offer In the Flesh, but all the letters for it so far are pretty lame. And I'm not about to offer 'any' at this point, not with the Gary/Kieran shipper lurking out there.

Gary/Kieren. There's a pairing I'd have never considered outside non-con. Gary screams rapist to me. He's always refusing other people their agency. I'd have to ODAO all over a Gary/Kieren request, I'm afraid.

I'm really hoping that some cool In the Flesh letters come up once sign-ups start, because I'd love to write for the fandom but I'm running low on ideas.

I thought there'd be a flood of Simon/Kieren prompts by now but no dice :(

Nooooooo someone finally posted a letter for a fandom I was hoping to write for and it's asking for basically the one thing I wouldn't be completely jazzed to write. :( This fandom's fic is 99% Character A/various dudes, and while there's nothing wrong with that, it's frustrating that it overwhelms everything else in the fandom. I had that character in my offers because I would LOVE to write pretty much anything else involving Character A (he's tied for my favourite character in the canon). But the first letter up is asking for nothing but Character A/various dudes.

Oh well, I'll keep an eye out to see if a lot of other requests happen for that fandom, and if any of them get interesting letters posted, and I'll decide from there if I want to risk it or unoffer and treat or what. I'd just unoffer this one character but he's so popular that I'm pretty sure that might exclude me from getting matched on the fandom at all, haha.

I was thinking of offering Cthulhu Mythos this year, saw a letter for it, and then, in the Dislikes list...

Narration that takes an actively pro-sex, pro-natalist, or pro-human stance. (Anything about humans slaying the gods or conquering the universe is against my religion, as is the concept of sexual activity as a worthy, noble, and healthy end in itself. Don't get me started on the lionization of reproduction and humanity's continuing survival.)

This person still wants smut, though, and also wants a fic about the Great Race of Yith's civil engineering. This is either a masterful troll or just completely fucking confusing.

The person who just posted their letter requesting secondary white cock in my beloved female fandom has forced me to not offer "Any". SMH so hard at their letter.

How likely is it that they are asking for any on that first fandom? And are getting matched to someone who offered the two first mentioned characters?

The request for Red Cliff is just... Not only are most of the characters she's requesting not in the tagset, they're not in the movies. They appear in Romance of the Three Kingdoms, a completely different source. Changed my offer immediately!
